Hey world!

I just created an account on Friendica, but since I am at work I shouldn't be playing around with it too much. I see that if I search posts, there's content from Mastodon showing up, but I can't find a way to directly follow Mastodon accounts. Is there a logic I am missing here?

The idea of this service is great. Not a big FB user, so I am not trying to fill a gap, but I am always interested in new ways to get people connected.
