upgraded a cheap usb fan to jst xha...

The back side of the case. A 2 pin jst xha connector is visible in the rectangular hole made before. It is glued in with hot glue additionally. On the top the black switch is visible. The case is round and has a lot of slots.

The marking is removed with ethanol. The inside of the hole is filled with adheasive tape. In the middle of the hole a brown pcb is visible.

Black rectangular markings arount a hole in a white plastic. The inside of the marking is cut out to reduce the case thickness. On the right a no. 15 surgical blade used for the cutting with small remains of plastic on it.

The finished fan with its usb cable replaced to a xha input. It is a small cheap usb fan made from white plastic. A cable with crimped on xha plug exits to le left. The fan is tilted up in its plastic stand.

A green pcb with a decoupling cap and two inductors is soldered rectangular to a dot matrix pcb. On the right side is a black rocker switch connected to the green pcb and the dot matrix pcb by blue wire. A red and a black wire exit the decouptling cap on the green pcb to the top.
