There are ways collapse would come, rather than just one way, but the one way most likely is still with the involvement of us with civilization, that contributes to the problems in this world leading to it. People can continue on much better without maintained dependence on civilization. The needed change is with ourselves moving to what we should have to really continue on and have any things getting better. It would be apart from civilization.
