Wow!
Can now turn a WordPress site/blog into a Fediverse "account". I will test this with my own, but eyeing the Baronial web page to provide a non-Facebook way to "follow" it!

@etnmarchand activitypub is enough. I had issues with webfinger, although I can't remember the specifics.

Just be aware that some hosting sites have security setups that effectively block activitypub. If you set it up and it doesn't work (new posts aren't federated, and following the site is always pending), then that might be the reason.

Good to know. My personal one is at Wordpress.com so should work fine. But if I have problems with the other sites I maintain, this might be the problem then. Better to know than repeatedly bang my head into a wall. So thanks for the heads up!!!

It took me months to be certain. I solved it by moving hosts.
