Any of the  possible disasters coming to civilization are not only possible but really likely. But it should not be missed that if it is not something external that ruins civilization or any war which we avoid coming to, that brings the end, there is the ruination of environments which affects what is available, and diminished resources that will soon not be enough. Civilization just can't have what will enable it to continue. But, importantly, humans can continue without civilization. Any of us can do so well, with planning for it soon and taking action for being independent, with real sustainability.
