Trump has ordered the installation of large posters of himself in Washington DC after directing soldiers to patrol it.

If there's anyone in your life who still doubts that Trump is a fascist, please show them this photo.

@darkuncle I guess a lot of people search for the meaning of life. The risk with being in ideological blunt mode while doing so, is dangerous, in my view.

We need to try to be the true versions of our selfs, i believe. If people are ideologically asleep, or afraid to share their views, it might be difficult to have meaningful conversations, dialogues that helps us in finding truth through social context.

But life should not be too easy. We need to try, sincerity.

@martinvermeer before I even bothered to make an Orwell 1984 comment I figured if I checked the comments someone beat me to it!!

So, they have already started the newspeak, thought-police has taken over unis and education, so the dumbest big brother is finally unveiled.

I hope all those red/blue pill swallowers are happy.

For 30 years, I have said that this was the end goal of Newt Gingrich's 90s congress and they did a lot to help achieve this moment.

@jasonb @martinvermeer 1971: The Powell Memo laid the roadmap for the US Reich (MANIFESTO). 1994: The Telecom Act, signed by Clinton, opened the floodgates to corporate/billionaire ownership of entire media markets (PROPAGANDA). 2003: The Patriot Act established mass surveillance and the end of due process (STURMABTEILUNG). 2016-2024: Trump is selected by the oligarchs as the useful idiot for the destruction of the government bureaucracy (DOGE).

@spnl Sounds like your country might be blocked by the site.

But, sadly, these posters are a very well-documented phenomenon. Here's an earlier article about Trumpers putting his photo up on other posters

I've been thinking we should all say exactly what we think of this man at every opportunity, because when he dies - and there are those weird clues he's not well - there will be ghastly fawning "don't speak ill of the dead" obits from around the world.
He's trash. He's incompetent. He's deluded. He's dangerous because he is all these things and some fool put him in power.

@jackyan Turns out it's not the full picture - actually Labour Day celebration signage.

@DarthAstrius @jackyan so, you've heard the stories from the survivors, it seems.

Mao only liberated *some* of his people.

@DarthAstrius @gimulnautti You should study Maoโ€™s campaigns more. Especially the Cultural Revolution has many similarities to what Trump has been doing. Mao is actually the person Iโ€™ve used the most to build a framework for understanding Trump.

Trump has worked more top-down rather than Maoโ€™s bottom-up (which he did because he had lost the formal power), but the systematic expulsion of competent people is very similar.

Now all that's missing is an oversized bronze statue in front of the white (currently brown) house. Then they could rename him Kim Jong-trump or Donald Jong-un. I'm taking the link to Instagram, because there are still some strange characters there who believe everything this fascist says. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that this will soon come to an end ๐Ÿคž๐Ÿผ๐Ÿคž๐Ÿผ๐Ÿซถ๐Ÿผ๐Ÿซถ๐Ÿผ
