There are plenty of such who do not see there is collapse ahead likely soon. So population will peak and then decline worldwide from that happening, even sooner. If it reaches over ten billion people worldwide it will be more crowded with much demand from the land. We better not have the same demands that most have now, or collapse would come almost immediately, it will be way too many in the world to support that. Growing our own things living simply will be very, extremely, important, with or without civilization. We would do well with this being away from where collapse is so likely to be near.
