Donald Byrd - Places And Spaces

This is another of those impeccably pressed Blue Note reissues.

This is a real classic jazz-funk album, containing loads of massive tunes, Harvey Mason's classy drumming and super-sweet vocals from Kay Haith, whose career didn't seem to extend outside of singing on Donald Byrd's albums, which is a shame.

I played this twice.
