Yes agreed. America isn't seen by regular ppl as trustworthy or reliable. Many many voters are against #AUKUS bc of the price, timeline and the fact it's an American deal. Trump is seen as a joke at best and total despot at worst.

That's unclear. Trump is very unpopular, and on this issue, Albo would have been siding with the great majority of our friends and allies.
