Loss of habitats and extinctions of many species which continue are connected to what is happening with civilization using resources to meet demands. Agriculture and most especially animal agriculture is really a huge part of that. We should not just take part. Civilization is not going to make it to just continue on, and we could be already living in sustainable ways without being a part of the great demands ruining this world.
