Yesterday I reached 300 watched movies since joining Letterboxd. I didn't realize it until after, though, otherwise I would've watched "300".
Instead I went with Stanley Kubrick's "Lolita" (1962). A movie that I had but off for a long time, due to it's sexual theme. But it wasn't that bad, actually. And Peter Sellers has never been funnier.

Maybe I'll even read Nabokov's novel now? That's also something I've been avoiding for the same reasons, even though he's a great novelist and I've enjoyed everything else of his that I've read.

A ★★★ review of Lolita (1962)
What starts of as a virtual bonanza of sexual innuendos soon turns so subtle it pretty much has to be spelled out in the dialogue.letterboxd.com
