Yesterday I reached 300 watched movies since joining Letterboxd. I didn't realize it until after, though, otherwise I would've watched "300".
Instead I went with Stanley Kubrick's "Lolita" (1962). A movie that I had but off for a long time, due to it's sexual theme. But it wasn't that bad, actually. And Peter Sellers has never been funnier.

Maybe I'll even read Nabokov's novel now? That's also something I've been avoiding for the same reasons, even though he's a great novelist and I've enjoyed everything else of his that I've read.

Har använt Windows sedan jag skaffade min första PC i början av 90-talet. Då gällde Win 3.1 - sedan har jag nog avverkat version efter version efter dess och sitter nu med Win 10/11.
Har aldrig haft några större problem, vare sig med operativsystemet i sig eller med några uppdateringar.
Med det sagt tror jag inte den ganska vanliga (och ibland rent slentrianmässiga) kritiken är obefogad. Men den berör knappast den genomsnittliga användaren.
Texterna av Gabriel Itkes-Sznap - samlade under rubriken "Efter" - i senaste numret av Glänta är fantastiska! Nån som vet om de är hämtade från någon av hans böcker eller om de endast publicerats i tidskriften (hittills)?

Lyssnar på Tears for Fears. Inte för att jag gillar dem särskilt mycket, utan för att jag precis lade in "Songs from the big chair"-vinylen i Discogs och då är det inte mer än rätt att jag lyssnar på den också.

Nån som kan #Mediawiki och kan förklara för en amatör vad som är felet här?
Jag har installerat en egen wiki. När jag gör en sökning på ett ord som inte finns i wikin borde jag få upp möjligheten att skapa sidan, men så sker icke. Enda sättet att göra det är istället att skriva in det nya sidnamnet manuellt i URL'en.
Vad är det som är fel?

in reply to Timo Tijhof • •I haven't installed any extra extension that weren't in the original install package (I'm using MediaWiki 1.45.0-alpha).
Below is a screenshot of the search result page (sorry for the meta search term, btw). As you can see, there's no option to create the missing page. Just a "No result"-messsage.

/index.php?search=Anything&safemode=on&useskin=vector&uselang=sv
* safemode: Temporarily disables overrides from MediaWiki:Common.css etc
* useskin: It looks like you are using a custom skin. Try "vector" to see if it might be due to that.
* uselang: If after all this you still don't see it, try uselang=qqx. That will disable localisation overrides and show the message keys. The create page link is from the "searchmenu-new" message. Is that shown?
