I really wish I had friends or family in another country. A better country. Who I could go stay with. For the next four years. Or forever. I didn’t vote for any of this. MY nation ended on Inauguration Day. It’s now the United States of America in name only. The Constitution isn’t worth the paper it’s written on. I don’t recognize whatever THIS is. What it is becoming. And more rapidly than anyone anticipated. Things will only get worse. I don’t want to have to endure it. I want to be somewhere else. But I don’t know where or how. It feels like the entire world is going mad.

The sad thing is that the free world is pretty much under attack nowadays. It's not just the US. Here in Europe, countries are falling to the far right extremist forces one by one. My country has been largely protected by this, and we were largely more worried about corruption, about politicians that are reserved about reforms, about how the same politicians that used to be part of the communist party were trying to capturing the state to their advantage. But we had a clear direction.
Now even that one is put into discussion by a literal schizo (I mean, he looks like one) who managed to spell people into following him, with his speech about the Russian wisdom being our only chance, all while denying he's a rampant russophile.
And our political establishment, instead of waking up

And our political establishment, instead of waking up in the last minute, they're doing what they know better - they try to weaken our democracy even more just to (allegedly) prevent them from taking to power (ironically) in a democratic way.
In fact, after the elections were canceled, literally nothing happened. Sure, they raided some houses of the far-right supporters and temporarily detained some key figures, but, no official evidence has been provided on Russian involvement, no heads of intelligence have been fired after this, not a single person was actually condemned for what happened, nothing. They're literally rushing against the far right to destroy democracy.
I think the only solution to this would be to stay informed and fight through all the possible means in order to survive this one way or another.
