It appears that I can follow accounts mutually from:
- mastodon <-> pixelfed
- mastodon <-> friendica

but I can't follow my pixelfed account from friendica (but the other way seems to work).

Is this right? should the last one work?

Yeah! I can even reply to your reply to my post that I can see (like I'm doing now... I hope).

@shalien

I can. I can even reply to your comment there. Unfortunately, it doesn't look like my reply makes it back to Mastodon.

@shalien

the app logos on the right of each message showing which kind of app it came from, and linking back to the post on it's home server are a really nice touch.

@freezr

Well.. not sure really how the accounts work on each service. And I guess the follow call is made server-side, so I can't debug it?

Also, I can see this comment! So I guess me not being able to reply from friendica.world is not a general problem, but maybe something specific to that server?

@freezr

Weirdly, I can't see your reply on friendica.world, but I CAN see my mastodon.social reply to your reply (though it says "unknown parent")

in reply to naught101

Also, I can see 3 reshares of this on friendica.world, including 2 from different mastodon instances and my own. On mastodon.social, it says there are 11 boosts, but I can only see 9, and they are all from various mastodon servers.

@❄️ freezr ❄️ also the posts do show a correct link to your home account page. It's restricted, I wonder if that's why your comment doesn't show up here?

@freezr I don't think there's any blocking involved in this instance, but that's good to know about the server/user block difference
