Unboosted toot, unexpected behaviour, and now I am curious
!Friendica Support I #boosted a #toot on floss.social this morning and saw it appear in friendica.world one minute later. I then #unboosted that same toot on floss.social. I expected the toot to disappear from friendica, but it still shows, saying that I reshared it. Is this normal behaviour or is my friendica.world instance messing up? I'd expect the toot to disappear, or at least the mention that I reshared the toot to disappear.

As far as I remember, the server sends a signal to the network that a message has been removed. Because the recipients created a copy of this message, it's left up to them how they deal with it.
This requires cooperation and if different platforms are involved, then there can be misinterpretation or the feature simply isn't implemented yet.
