How do you know how heavy a red hot chili pepper is?
Give it a weigh, give a weigh, give it a weigh now...

OMG IT'S HAPPENING
phys.org/news/2026-01-austrian…
In 1982, cartoonist Gary Larson published a now-iconic "Far Side" comic titled "Cow Tools." In it, a cow stands proudly beside a jumble of bizarre, useless objects that are "tools" in name only.Cell Press (Phys.org)

Doggerel is fun. Writing doggerel is how you learn the craft of writing more serious verse. Here is some fun doggerel written by Samuel Johnson as parody of bad poetry:
I put my hat upon my head,
And walk'd into the Strand,
And there I met another man
Whose hat was in his hand.
Perfect meter, but nothing to say. And of course "The Night Before Christmas" is definitely doggerel, and also fun.

I think it would be a great coding challenge to see how many ways people could implement a letter count program in different languages as an answer for this facepalm output...
I'm confident that even the most complex approaches (like firing up a Win98 with Excel97 and execute a VBScript on a virtual machine) would still cost less, consume less energy and be far more accurate than these... I don't even have words for them anymore.
