out for maintanance.
one of the 0603 bulk caps in the 12V rail to the fans blew shorting it all. Had to remove the 7805 and then cap by cap to find that out.
Aaaaaaaand it's wurkin again...

Flash photo of a red pcb resembling a breadboard populated by a microcontroller surrounded by jst connectors. On the left side 12V comes in to the power section by a red and black cable with jst connector. An elco and and a voltage regulator with heat sink next to it. The connector for the switch is bridged by a wire in the connector. The connectors are labeled 12V GND SW SW GND 5V RX TX H 5V and GND.

Happy birthday ;- )

this is so meta

Had a short below a bulk cap, which fried the voltage regulator and the microcontroller. To access the regulator i also had to remove the potentiometer at the back side.

I am stil working on the fan control of my plant growing box. Had a short below a bulk cap, which fried the voltage regulator and the microcontroller. To access the regulator i also had to remove the potentiometer at the back side.

at least to approve the preprint and get your authers copy, you are allowed to share on request but not to upload for all.

except Chuck Norris.

when you put out #water for our #insect friends on hot dry days, make sure to put a stone inside the water, so anypwny falling in has the chance to swim to the stone and to get out by climbing its rough (low biofilm) over water surface. If you put the stone to the edge of the water container you can connect it to one of those holding the container in place forming a bridge for those, who can not fly, but still smell the fresh water. Flying ones like in the picture just land on the stone after a few explorative cycles.
