I’m a newbi here. Hoping to persuade my friends to leave other social media platforms and join this one. Is it easy to set up a private group of people with the same interest?
I am new here and there may be ways I have not learned about yet. Though private groups does not seem to be a virtue of Fediverse in general. Though if you setup your own server you could control who could join it. Though I do not know if you could limit how messages propagated over the rest of the Fediverse if you connected? Maybe @Ruud could answer that, as he runs a server.
