Removing the US flag out of my desktop


I am a long time linux user, and Xfce has been my main environment for years now. I recently did a fresh install on my work computer, and I saw that hideous flag on my panel. I type in multiple languages, so I need an indicator of which layout I'm in. When I use Latin American Spanish, for example, I see 'LAT' on the icon. But when I use English, I see that goddam flag. It's repulsive, specially nowadays.

A quick fix is to navigate to /usr/share/gxkb/flags/ and replace the us.png file. I used this one:

The file is called "us", so I though of "us" as in "we", and thought of planet earth as a more accurate image, since English is really a lingua franca more than the language of the United States of America.
