Miles Davis - Nefertiti

My other purchase this morning.

Another all-star cast: Davis, Shorter, Hancock, Carter, Williams.

Sometimes, I listen to jazz and wish they'd just step on the gas a little, y'know?.
Well on this 1967 recording - Miles' last acoustic recording before....BOOM! - the electric period and jazz-fusion and all that - they repeatedly stamp on that gas pedal until the engine's red hot (or something like that.) What an amazing album. It's a real thrill from start to finish.
