On September 19, 2026, at the Carpathian 8 Summit in Bukovel, the Stryi City Council and the charitable foundation 'Spadshchyna UA' signed a memorandum on the restoration of the Great Synagogue of Stryi and the creation of a cultural center based on it. The document was signed by the mayor of the city, Oleh Kanivets, and on behalf of the foundation, its founder Hanna Havryliv.
