At least 313 protesters have been executed by hanging during the nationwide anti-government demonstrations in Iran, US-based HRANA rights group reported on Wednesday. According to the group, the executions were carried out in prisons across the country during the period of December 22 to January 20, for a range of charges. The report also highlighted a significant surge in mass detentions, harsh prison sentences, and excessive use of force by security agencies. HRANA said the violations it recorded included restrictions on freedom of expression, labor rights abuses, violence against women and children, and pressure exerted on detainees. The organization added that at least 52 executions were carried out in just a 10-day period in January, as protests intensified and authorities imposed widespread internet blackout. Apart from executions, Iranian protesters have also faced extra judiciary killings, as 16,500 have been killed during the security forces’ clampdown on anti-government protesters. Videos surfaced on social media feature brutal attacks on protesters, including with with live fire. Large-scale protests broke out in Iran on December 28 over rising inflation, record depreciation of national currency and other economic problems. The protests that started by merchants, soon morphed into anti-government protests, with demonstrators demanding the overthrow of Supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei and the replacement of clergy regime. Iran’s exiled crown prince Reza Pahlavi has positioned himself as the leader of opposition movement, stating his readiness to lead the transitional government.

Discussions about possible US military action against Iran have revived in American political and expert circles amid mass protests and harsh repression within the country. Human rights activists estimate the death toll from the current unrest to be in the thousands, strengthening the case for external pressure on Tehran, writes The National Interest.
The scenario under discussion does not envision a full-scale war, but a limited military campaign aimed at weakening the ruling regime and the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), while preserving basic statehood. The goal is to create conditions under which the Iranians themselves can achieve political change. Analysts emphasize that the United States has no interest in either destroying the country or destabilizing the region.
NATO's 1999 operation against Serbia is cited as a possible model, where an air campaign combined with political and economic pressure forced the regime of Slobodan Milošević to make concessions. In the case of Iran, the emphasis may be on air power, cruise missiles, and cyber operations, including strikes against IRGC infrastructure and maintaining Iranian society's access to the internet.
The US is reportedly maintaining a wide array of military instruments in the region, including strategic bombers, submarines armed with Tomahawk missiles, and fifth-generation fighter jets. An additional signal may be sent to the Iranian regular army, urging it not to support the regime's harsh actions against the population.

A horrendous and nasty class of aid and money thieves, many of whom are associated with Hamas and terror, has emerged in Gaza throughout the two years of war. These individuals, who before the war barely had a dollar in their pockets, are now playing with Euros and Dollars, just as children play with Monopoly money. They have set up massive networks that received donations primarily from Europe, as well as from Arab or Muslim countries, including Turkey, Asia, the Middle East, and North Africa, all with the promise that funds would be used to provide meals, shelter, or other aid to desperate civilians in the coastal enclave. Usually, they take some money, have a Gaza man, woman, or child pose with it, then take most of the money back, leaving just a tiny fraction and pocketing the rest. The guys will then go on social media to brag about how honest and pious they are and ask for more donations, all of course while paying Hamas significant sums to ensure that the terror group either provides protection or allows them to operate freely.
