I'm new to friendica, but not to the fediverse. I've been in Diaspora for over a decade now, and I'm active in Mastodon and Mbin.
One thing I've noticed after moving to Friendica is that I keep running into nsfw content. On Diaspora this is not an issue if you do not follow nsfw tags or users. On Mbin you can simply hide nsfw content. On Mastodon it's more or less the same, so long you stay out of the global timeline.
I see that in Friendica the content on nsfw posts is by default hidden. Good! But is there a way to filter it out of my timeline altogether?

PS: I am not using the n s f w tag because I don't want the post to be flagged as one.

(We're on the same Friendica instance.) I'm mainly on diaspora* or mastodon; Friendica is mainly filled with mastodon-people I already follow on mastodon ... I haven't really decided what to do where, I think I initially thought I would be mostly on Friendica, but then it got overloaded, and ... well well.
[https://friendica.world/settings/addons], under Content Filter (N S F W and more), in

Comma separated list of keywords
I've added additional words, but none of the posts completely disappear. They do collapse, though.
I do have a bunch in [https://friendica.world/contact/blocked], added on stumble-upon-basis. Manually ...
I also have some under [https://friendica.world/contact/ignored], but I think "blocked" is where you want to put them.
Btw, your post ended up as collapsed, because

so it doesn't have to be "as a tag" (#).
