Did she sign up on friendica.world as well, or another server?

She should search (in the search field up top) for katelynne@friendica.world to find you,
or you can search for her (nick)@(server).

It may be that she'll have to wait a bit to "get connected", if she just signed up.
(I assume she's already got the registration e-mail with her temporary password.)

We have been searching for each other but it just says no match.

She signed up with this server at 2 pm today (Monday)
I have been checking and she has tried to send me a message.
My husband tried to sign up but they never sent him confirmation with a password
