The thingamajig is a waterslide, carried by six drones.
It is put down, and hiker 1 and hiker 2 goes down by means of the waterslide: "Wheeee"
while the drones hover above.

When the hikers are down slide, they continue their hike by foot, and the drones take the waterslide away.
