One movie that needs to be remade is The Last Starfighter. Don't get me wrong, Ready Player One ticked a lot of these boxes. But I think the message, making your own kind of music matters and if you get good enough at it you can play your own game instead of the game everyone tells you everyone must play. It's a good message and there is truth to it. You really do have to play the stupid games everyone must play, but they're a means, not an end. And what you do on your own, your talents and what makes you you, it matters.
