Freestyle Proof

This is insane. This, taken just a few minutes ago. See that red LOW around/after lunch? Alarm did NOT go off at all, I was just sitting here crocheting an art project while watching videos again. (multitasking!) And I actually had lunch, 2 bunless hot dogs and about 2/3 Cup deviled egg potato salad. BULLSHIT. No, you can't silence the low alarm. So it not only had a false low, it didn't even go off this time. I see the Doc Monday, thank the gods.

having issues with alt text again, so here: Image shows a screenshot of the phone app for the glucose monitor. it shows a current reading of 84. The line graph at the bottom is black except for where it dip low, then the line is red. A red section shows right around noon for about an hour or so.

More Yarn Shenanigans

wowzers. Not only did UPS nearly CRUSH that yarn, whomever put it in the box didn't even put it in a bag. So it's probably not even clean, considering we've had dust storms lately while this came through.

Photos of crushed box and yarn just put inside it without being any anything to keep it clean.

Ain't What They Used To Be

Six months. That's how long this Hanes long-sleeved t-shirt has lasted before getting a hole in the underarm seam in the wash somehow. And I haven't worn it that often, because that's from September to March. What a piece of crap. Hanes. How disappointing.

I just posted a screenshot in that comment and I can't even see the screenshot. here's a screenshot of the missing screenshot, LOL

A Few Hobbies and Likes

This is by no means comprehensive, but here are some of my interests. Drawing, writing, reading, movies, art shows, readings, supporting my community arts center, Little Libraries, historical costuming, gadgets, D&D 5e (I'm on both Roll20 and D&DBeyond), most music except for metal, jazz, and rap with a particular fondness for Irish folk music, crochet, fountain pens, embroidery, scifi/fantasy, video games, board games, foods of many cultures, tea, cats, opossums, and I write and publish zines. There's more, but just trying to think of it all would take a while. I don't get out a lot because I'm disabled, but I have a rich online life and have made some really good connections so far.
