I was wondering how #mastodon would handle longer blog-style posts with images linked throughout made from #friendica. It seems like it just doesn't. I checked mastodon.social and mas.to and neither are aware of the post I made earlier even though notifier task has completed its notifying.

Kind of a bummer.

@Jupiter Rowland That's really helpful info. Wow, do I ever get back helpful and thorough replies about Friendica. Thank you, roaming avatar! 😀

#friendicahelp !

Does #friendica have something similar to lists on Mastodon? Like, any way I can take a subset of my follows (or non-followed accounts) to view separately so their posts don't get lost in the flood?

Edit: SOLVED!

@Adam Yes I believe the equivalent you’re looking for is probably the Circles feature. And you can even combine the Circles feature with the Channels feature which is what I do. You can do creative stuff with it. Like I made a very specific feed for myself that is some of my friends who talk about Fediverse + added a tag and keyword filter to catch little questions (such as this one that you just posted). So I get all my Fediverse discussion in one spot peppered with little new user questions sprinkled in.

That's really cool. So much more powerful than lists. Channels kinda remind me of Misskey's antennae - like mini algorithmic feeds.

Thanks!!
