I just want everyone to know that Liza’s fur is like unusually soft and smooth and fuzzy, like even for cat. I don’t know how she does it.
Sometimes I even ask her outright “How do you do it? How do you even be so soft?” but she’s not telling

This is Almond. He might have other names, but he's Almond to me.
On sunny days, Almond is found in his front yard, which I frequently walk past. He's very friendly and loves pats.
Yesterday I had errands to run. As I walked past Almond's house, he loudly proclaimed that he saw me, and I apologised I had to keep moving.
Afterwards I came back, and he came up to me and very loudly complained that my behaviour was unacceptable. He did not let me pat him.
Cats are awesome.

I was worried because I'd spoken to his new humans a few times, and once they mentioned "they liked Almond so much they were getting their own cat", which made me worry that Almond might no longer get their love.
But this was just anxiety on my behalf. Almond looked so content and well-cared for yesterday.
I'll have to drop them a thank you note.
Y'all, I dropped a note into Almond's letterbox saying thank-you for loving him, and his family wrote back to me!!
Not only is he super-loved, but he's also vaccinated, microchipped, and gets to be an inside cat with another friend who loves him!
I am *so* happy for him! This is such a happy ending for everyone!
I write (frequently queer) fantasy fiction with entertaining characters, enjoyably perilous adventures, romantic entanglements, some dark undertones, but always happy, hopeful endings.

Beavers are emerging as unexpected allies in combating climate change. Their dam-building activities create wetlands that conserve water, support biodiversity, and mitigate drought impacts. By restoring beaver populations, we can enhance ecosystem resilience and promote sustainable agriculture.

A 1st-2nd Century AD; 'Roman Rock Crystal Dice' (Tesserae), from Wroxeter, Shropshire, England 🏴🇬🇧
These dices often used to move pieces on a game board. Used alone they were generally for gambling, to provide a win with highest number.
According to Marcellinus, most members of upper classes did not wish to identify themselves as gamblers, instead preferring term "Dicer." Numerous Roman Emperors, such as Augustus and Claudius were known for playing dice.
