This is a friendly reminder that, unless you are talking or writing to partners, family, or friends, or it's a serious emergency, when you speak and/or write in public, the correct thing to do is to speak or write with decency. There is no need to include obscenities in everything, for no reason. This is true during interviews, when writing articles, and even when writing in the Fediverse, as posts can't as easily be filtered as on more mainstream platforms. If you need help with words, please consult a dictionary or thesaurus.
Join us again next week, boys and girls, when we'll be discussing proper dress, which doesn't mean wearing jeans and tee-shirts in an office or educational setting, or going out in sweats or pyjamas!

The castle built between 1296-1297 AD, by Rudolf von Fohnsdorf. In 1300 it was described as “a border fortress” between Archbishopric of Salzburg and the Duchy of Styria.
During 14th-15th Centuries AD, it became the seat of administrator who was in charge of managing the silver mines in Ramingstein. The first documented mention of the name Burg Finstergruen (dark ditch) occurred in 1629 AD.

Anyway, Hoodening in SNAW, Acol and Birchington continued to at least 1925, in Deal (maybe Hythe) also into the 1930s, and replicas started appearing from 1939. Few of those doing hoodening in the 1960s were folk fans (nor were the mummers we know). And as we see it, the horses appearing with morris/mummers are beasts, not hooden horses. Given my own interests, I've been saying for ages that I need more cultured, elegant, sophisticated people in my life. I've also said that I want to make more male gay friends, because they usually fall into that category. Now, I'm delighted to say that, ever since I've joined friendica, I've been accomplishing my goal! I'm not saying straight or bisexual men can't be this way. I would love to find them, and even more so , a single , older one (or more) for myself. But in general, searching for them usually consumes far more energy than it's worth, unless I'm fortunate enough to find seniors. I can't comment on women, as I usually get along better with men, so it wouldn't be fair. But outside of the gay community, I tend to get along with those several decades older than I.

Agricultural plastic pollution reduces soil function
A new study reveals that plastic, even under best practices, contaminates soils with macro- and microplastics, harming critical soil functions. Sampling 12 California farms, researchers found significant plastic debris. To protect soil health and productivity, biodegradable alternatives to plastic mulch are urgently needed.

today, I heard of pinned posts. Apparently, they work in the Fediverse as they do on Dreamwidth, keeping a post at the top of you profile. Do these exist on Friendica? If so, how are they enabled, and can you pin more than one post? Can this be done via TweeseCake?
