I wonder if this Friendica instance is particularly problem ridden. Are there any well working friendica servers one could join?

Created a group, now let's use it...
So I created a group called "DemoGroup" (demo_group). I can view and edit it's "profile" in manage accounts. But I can't find it anywhere in the UI when I'm back to my regular user ("Fossfan")... So now the issue is - how do I use this group of mine...
Evryone who likes to test feel free to join it (if you can find it 😀, I can't 🙃)

The state of Friendica
It's worrysome that this site has had that message about performance issues since I first registered this summer (or was it even earlier? don't remember).
I discussed Friendica with different people on Mastodon and someone said that Friendica as a project is alive and well and the codebase is being rewritten. Is there any truth to that?

Using Friendica with groups
I'm trying to use groups here. Tried to create one, but it seems to take me to registering an account at lemmy, although I stull have the header from this Friendica site. A bit weird.
Also. Does it mean that the people I see in the timeline here, are not actually on Friendica, but on Mastodon or Pixelfed or Lemmy?

So what am I supposed to do with the form?
How do you create groups on Friendica?
I cant find it in the ui (using mobile web)
Click your name on the top right and then click Settings, then Manage Accounts. From there click "Register an additional account".
Then on the new account, click Settings and then Account. Open "Advanced account types" and click Community Group.
I'm on PC but it should be the same for you on mobile if you're using the website
Performance issues
I think the notice about performance issues has been there for quite some time. Haven't found much info on Lemmy either. Any news? I'm really eager to explore Friendica and maybe set up a server. But it's not too encouraging when this notice has been here for months and months.
