I could see the US becoming a Canadian providence, and americans having to learn to live under the Canadian cannon of laws... it would be a shock to some people (million/billionaires) but for the general populace not a lot would really change, other than better medical, politicians that are actually working for the people, maybe some changes in politeness, improved schooling, you know nothing too substantial for most of what is currently USA (not so united right now I fear) as for the other way around.. nope, can not see Canada becoming the 51st state of the US, or the 50anythingth state to be honest... Canadian people are much to kind and honorable to live under american law, and show too much concern for community to be willing to subject themselves to the US... trump blows a lot of smoke up peoples ass and his claims that tariffs will make Canada beg to become a state are just that, him blowing smoke up peoples ass... invoking a tariff on products going out to other countries is about as effective as saying "we dont want to sell this stuff, but we really want you to buy it for more then its worth to you" which might fly in the US, but isnt going to fly in places like Canada and the EU... tbh, I can see a higher probability that Canada will join the EU then Canada joining the US.. and thats from an american whos eyes are open, and ears can hear the truth of whats happening.
