The #US is clueless if they think #Canada will drown without them. Big #Canadian businesses buy from and collab with them because we are loyal to our #allies. THAT has all changed.

As if we can’t collab with other countries?
It’s laughable.
Presently I am researching common tech made and sold by #EUcountries. Figuring out which #smartphone, #tablet and #earbuds I like, before our Canadian phone companies and tech stores make their switches to offering plans including them.

3 members of punk band The U.K. Subs were detained by immigration officials at LAX where they had arrived for their farewell tour.

Their luggage, phone, and passport were confiscated; and they were held for 25hrs before being sent back to Britain. Apparently this is another example (like the French scientist) of being harassed and denied entry because they had dared to question the politics of Dear Leader on social media.

I think the reason Trump won in 2024 & the reason removing him will take a sacrifice that most Americans aren't prepared to make, is that the right has figured out how to make themselves seem inevitable, invulnerable & ubiquitous by amplifying & inflating their actual public support to appear greater than it is. It's why they throw $$$ at AI, Meta is a black box, Musk bought twitter, they invented Newsmax & OAN, and the admin has pulled tech in tight.

Not exactly, my take is that the U.S. DEI programs are meant to ensure that those who are not kicked out because for there social or physical traits are able to gain equal social/job opportunities/footing than those who are already 'privileged (in this case, 'white Christian men')'. One can imagine getting fired from a job just because a woman is pregnant or is blackmailed to stay in the job while receiving acts of sexual harassment or forms of bigotry, for example. Point was DEI is meant to offer such protections since many may also come from poor upbringings (in this case, the privileged are the rich families) to enable them to get similar education/health tr

I think that where it get dis-informed, especially by the 'right-wing intel' and 'bro-news' such as Charlie Kirk, is that narrative that the men of the U.S. felt neglected or dis-favoured. E.g. talks of freedom of speech -> sexual.verbal harassment or death threats. I will say canceling food and medicine is violence, hidden behind paperwork.
