I'm new to friendica, but not to the fediverse. I've been in Diaspora for over a decade now, and I'm active in Mastodon and Mbin.
One thing I've noticed after moving to Friendica is that I keep running into nsfw content. On Diaspora this is not an issue if you do not follow nsfw tags or users. On Mbin you can simply hide nsfw content. On Mastodon it's more or less the same, so long you stay out of the global timeline.
I see that in Friendica the content on nsfw posts is by default hidden. Good! But is there a way to filter it out of my timeline altogether?

PS: I am not using the n s f w tag because I don't want the post to be flagged as one.

in reply to HernanLG • • •I have emailed podmin@diasporasocial.net after previous failures, months ago, but not this time. Both times the podmin replied to me, but didn't say much, one time they mentioned a backup failure. Whoever the podmin is, they apparently want to keep a very low profile, but they did mention they had been running the pod for the last 8 or so years.
Also, this morning i got a notification that you replied to me on another thread, but your comment didn't show up on the thread. And that was after the server had come back this time. Maybe you should add your comment again to see if it goes through.
From this morning i got this notification:
