I learned that the first publisher Morian ratted out his daughter to

Some Prussian ministry highly recommended the charts early on, which was probably a reason for their success.

The post-war charts were done from scratch by Carl Morian (the publisher's
brother) and one Georg Heldmann the successor of von Koch. All original
designs and plates fell victim to air raids.

I learned that teacher education began at the age of 16.

UK has several US intelligence ( why does that sound like an oxymoron nowadays?) including Menwith Hill and the Early Warning system at Fylingdales. Felt well used to be US as well. Also three air bases, Mildenhall, cargo and refuelling, Lakenheath, fighters and Fairford a transient base for B52s amongst others.

There was a plan for the Munich Security Conference: talk Ukraine, talk defence. JD Vance then took the stage and basically said, "Russia isn't Europe's real threat—you are." Instead of slamming Putin, Vance scolded European leaders for "quashing free speech" and ignoring their own voters. Conclusion?
