In walking limbs, the range of motion and control decreases as you move away from the body. In limbs made for manipulation things are less consistent. The human shoulder is a lot like the coxa in ants, it allows a wide range of movements in multiple dimensions. The elbow only allows one dimension of motion.
Ants have many more joints after that but they are like a stiff chain, no fine control. However, ants can flex their claws and expand and retract their foot pads.

Ants use their front two legs differently from the back legs. They may use these limbs to dig or hold objects in place when manipulating them with their mandibles. The coxa of the front leg is often longer while all of the other segments are shorter. Ants have a comb on their front legs which they use for grooming—
I don’t think the front legs are used for manipulation in enough ways to have that be their primary purpose but there is a distinction that makes them more like “arms”

Can't find my video, but this one is better. It's "silver ants" or Cataglyphis bombycina
(no it's not speed up, they really move like that, when they spin in a circle they are looking for the sun so they will know how to get back to their nest. )
They use their mandible with wet soil. The "dog style" sand flicking is only for dry substrate.

With the Trump tariffs planned for this Spring we can already see a slow down in the sale of American made goods.
Companies like Coca Cola, McDonalds, Starbucks and AirBNB are also seeing a slow down. In the next few weeks, tourism is expected to decline as the rest of the world vacation elsewhere.

Jung-Koch-Quentell charts have now their published wiki page!
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jung-Koc…
Heinrich Jung, allegedly painted all
the charts.
Von Koch was regarded an eccentric (and his family was really rich).
Quentell was a teetotaler and active in numerous associations.
I did not find any sources how they actually met and worked together.

Jung and von Koch were both founding members of a natural sciences association
Von Koch recommended Quentell for a temporary research position in Italy.
I learned that the first publisher Morian ratted out his daughter to
the Nazi officials because he did not like her dating a Turkish student.

Some Prussian ministry highly recommended the charts early on, which was probably a reason for their success.
The post-war charts were done from scratch by Carl Morian (the publisher's
brother) and one Georg Heldmann the successor of von Koch. All original
designs and plates fell victim to air raids.
I learned that teacher education began at the age of 16.

#Trump and his administration now pose a significant risk to our national security
In reassessing our commitments, strengthening our independent intelligence capabilities has never been more crucial

For me practice makes . . . well, not, perfect, but it's a lot better.
Setting aside time on a weekly basis to do it, even if it's just fencing off some time to not fill, means we make better use of it over time. For us, it's a weekly religious service with an afternoon of quiet time. I think it works better when part of it is in community but YMMV.
Our house lives and dies by our routines, so that may not be you.
