If anyone's been looking to get rid of American social media or just looking for a good Canadian Pixelfed server, pixelfed.ca just launched.
It's run by Fedecan, a registered Canadian non-profit.
They also run lemmy.ca and I can personally vouch for the team being both great admins and terrific people.
