I've been trying to distract myself from eating... Unnecessary overeating, as my eating disorder loves to do...

Been browsing all corners of the Fedi. Trying to like posts that helped to distract me. Trying to find friends to add here on Friendica. Watching telly while scrolling through loads of messages...

So far, it's been helping me! Fingers crossed 🀞🏻 that I can keep this up.

Dog walkies with the neighbor and her dog in about half an hour. Then till 15:30, where I'll let Arwen out for another wee before I'll head to bed.

I really hope I can suppress this feeling of "hunger", as I know it's not real... Stupid eating disorder... πŸ˜”

So far... It's not going too badly... Fingers crossed 🀞🏻
Getting ready to walk with Arwen and the neighbor and her dog soon. Arwen is already giving out big sighs as she really wants to get the nomnoms...... πŸ˜‚
Two more hours and then I hopefully will be able to get some good sleep.
If only I can resist the urges and overcome that feeling of "hunger"....
Time will tell I guess.... πŸ˜‡

Recognize this ...Due to fibromyalgia /chronic fatigue syndrome , i'm laways ''hungry". Lack of energy. It's a struggle, fighting pain, tiredness, sensations of hunger... I crochet to distract, also roaming the internet, now I am busy with tidying up photo collections, ( becoming a walk over memorylane too! )...
There is always something to do, by the way: green tea helps me to stop the hunger sensation quite a bit...Green tea, fresh ginger, turmeric and black peppercorns is nice to drink and stop the feelings of hunger ! Take care and hugs to you !

@Wilhelmina58 Owwww yeah... I recognize that a lot. I deal with Fibro, AuDHD, a bad hip, Raynauds, hypermobility and chronic depression. My latest diagnosis was an (binge) eating disorder. I never really feel full, and stuff I like, I can't get enough of...
I try to distract myself with social media, watching TV, or playing a game. I've tried to drink more to "feel more full", but that only made me need the loo way too often during the night. 🫣And I still kept feeling hungry. And if the stomach is rumbling, then it's nearly impossible to fall asleep...
I'm a very difficult eater, but what I enjoy, I enjoy way too much...
Sometimes I can distract myself, other times, especially when my spoons have been used up, I just give in... πŸ˜”

I did eat something, but, I chose a healthier option, so it was more filling and lesser on the calories. I hope it helps me to relax enough so that in less than an hour, I can drift off in the land of snooze.... 😴

Fingers crossed 🀞🏻 and all that....

So now, some more distraction with social media before it's bed time... 😊
