I think I started in the wrong way by writing in Dutch. Think I will have more interaction by writing in English, I guess. I have been on Mastodon for a long time (since 2016) and I'm still a daily used of the platform. I closed my Facebook account in 2014, but I'm looking for a replacement and this might be it. It's very quiet, though. But maybe I'm just not looking in the right places. I will post a nice meme to attract some attention, sorry it's in Dutch, but I think it's easy to understand. I don't see a button for Alt-Text?
@phle @Ronald yep, hashtags work. You can then follow individual accounts. Diaspora accounts can be followed too, and if it isn't on the Fediverse but has RSS, just paste its address in the search bar, and it will fetch it for you.

Compared to diasp., at least I can add them on even after I've posted - on diaspora* I ended up with "oh ... should I post it, tagged, again? ... ".
