Ello sweet and lovely Friendos 💜
I'm still trying to get a grip with how Friendica works. I mostly use it from my phone (or tablet sometimes), so the interface is a bit different from the website I guess.
It can be confusing where to find certain options. And I wanted to make some circles, so I could easily filter out some close friends.
But maybe I was doing it wrong, but I needed the Racoon app to get it done, as I could not get it to add a circle, or let me add people to it, from the original web app. I thought it would be as easy as "select the closest Friendos, click options, add to circle, give name to circle, and done!". But yeah...
Either on did it wrong, or it just isn't that "simple" as it should have been, according to my brain... 😇
But I got my circles made. Which is also challenging with adding folks. Even if you're already connected, you still need the whole @ to find them. But, when you add the @ in front of the handle, like it is usually done in Fedi, well, it has issues finding the people then. Which seems weird, as I was already connected to them, so it should have been "known" tags...
Well... I managed! 😂 Hopefully this will make it easier to quickly check the new posts by friends when I have little time... 🤞🏻
But... I have to admit this... Ruud has been doing good job, as the node has been online more, and has less delays!! 😁 Maybe, some day, we can get really spoiled and get more custom emojis to play with? 😇 I've been so spoiled with all of them on Beige.party...
