Even more serious
Certainly aside from other serious issues, as threat to democracy and freedoms we had, there is Trump's assault on natural environments which is a threat to the world's future. There was already development so hard to keep civilization from continuing, but with this administration setting all controls back it will all come to great crisis much faster. You can't do anything to avoid that within civilization. It is high time to find the alternative way being apart.

Why stay with what is worsening it all?
Why is taking Greenland desired? Climate change happening is how desired resources there become available! Trump knows this! Those speaking in denial of climate change deep down really know it is real, and they just do not want to do anything involving any change for themselves. But we can do things about sustainability in our world and not contributing to any worsening, which civilization is still doing, with our separate ways from cities of civilization with all this destructiveness to the world with the exploitation continuing.

There's better way to continue in this world than this
Freedom is really desirable and we should have that, with any communities. The issue of our living in this world beyond what can be sustained must be dealt with, which can't happen with civilization, which grows. It can happen just with becoming independent from it with growing things and making things ourselves. Some can be for trade among us if that's desired, but without use of environments with taking from them. There is our overshoot with use of the earth to stop contributing to.

Independence from all civilization will be important
It should be known collapse is going to come to this civilization, which cannot keep going on, it is not sustainable in this world, using more and more of it as systems in the world are being ruined, by the very nature of civilization as it inherently is. How there can be sustainable ways to continue here
With so many in the world we are living beyond what world resources can go on supporting. It would be best for sustainability in this world if there was a lower human population than there is up to now. There will be collapse not a very long way off. If people were not staying with civilization with all the demands for what is had just with civilization there could be greater independence with sustainable living growing all things that can be for food, medicinal herbs, and materials to use, making their own things. There would not be collapse from this way of living without things from civilization and transportation needing fuel.

It is not at all getting better, why stay with it?
If it was thought that our society would fix everything that is worsening, and we could still go on, there is good reason that this hopeful thinking should be dashed now. This administration in office now will turn all that around, for what benefits the well-to-do now at the expense of anyone or anything else. It could only be best for ourselves to be away from all the society in civilization going in that direction as things worsen. I do not want to remain, myself, even just to say, I told you so. What I would have for us away from that will be far more ideal, with what we will see we really want, with our community in this involvement.

This Most Needed
I would have many of us come out of cities. Probably not enough would come out, it would be better if more and more came out. But I mean for there to be simple primitive communities, not driving around to hunt (that is not sustainable!) but growing what they need enough for completely adequate subsistence, with natural farming ways (see Fukuoka) and not using equipment of farmers now. It would need to be where there is good soil and enough water. Other ways will use more resources and impact environments and wildlife far more.

Without remaining dependent, that's important
It is useless to try to save anything of civilization. That will not work. We can save some of us with departing to become independent from civilization with sustainable ways living in simplicity where anything needed for food and useful materials can be grown. There are places in nature which people can be very comfortable with, we really belong there more and do not need civilization as much, with that. Some are doing such and some will be making change that is needed. I hope for some being comfortable to join with me in moving to such where we can continue sustainably with what we will have growing to be enough for us.

Serious issues to us being here
Can't any see how seriously life in this world and civilization with it are going to be in serious trouble ahead, as everything is worsening? There is the destructiveness to this world with taking everything for the needed resources while they still dwindle. All that is with civilization just as from animal agriculture has such a great environmental impact. Change for us becoming more needed
There is much harm coming from what is happening now with our society of civilization. It is extremely foolish to dismiss all the things happening. What can continue are small sustainable communities
Medicine is derived from medicinal plants that had been used. So we need to be finding the medicinal herbs we can learn besides the few ones known to us. Communities for people are needed, with greater independence from anything that is from civilization. And those in such communities are to care for ones with physical needs among them, who are not to be neglected or to let anyone just die while we do nothing to aid or help them. We have things to learn, we will make things and they are what we need to know how to do. Other people have made such things, it is how to be independent. But in a community there can be such working together.

There may be hope with what we could see
Those of us with civilization have it so hard to imagine ourselves not having civilization for anything. But there were many more generations of humans who never had civilization, and thrived still without so much work, than all the generations with civilization. We can learn the ways to have what we can be comfortable with, making things that we can and growing things, without that dependence on civilization, that we would not be lost when civilization is lost.

There is a tipping point we would be very close to. Cities are not sustainable and they will not just start being sustainable enough. Taking more than what this world continually provides can't go on. But staying with civilization is just trying to do that. Barbarism, meaning oxymoronic unto itself

‘Barbarism’

Is its meaning ‘absence of civilization’, or ‘extreme cruelty and brutality’? It’s the only word I can think of that is oxymoronic unto itself. Unlikely pre-civ humanways were as cruel and brutal en masse as rotating cohorts of civilized humans have been and continue to be. Barbarism’s commonly connoted meaning manifests not so much in wild humans, as in civilization’s enforced compliance with authoritarianism, power hierarchy, domination and exploitation. It’s not like groups of humans at war or whatever return indigenous. They get uber violent, rape pillage & plunder as civilized beings. After they get it out of their system, most return to civilization’s preferred norms, proud tax paying citizens. Civilization has barbarism built in.

We need to be here in a different way
Efforts to save civilization may be noble, while still with it continuing there is more destruction and ruining this world. It might not continue so long, but many people, if they leave cities and anything of civilization to live on land in small groups growing all they can there to subsist that way separately, would continue on, while civilization will not go on past the catastrophic disasters. It could not last forever in this limited world as it gets ruined with the demands that always will come with civilization. The technology that ruins this world cannot be what can save it.

Living differently is needed
The government is not very responsive to the scientific community. There would be collapse from what can be seen now. We are in a world that is not unlimited, and we should not just be using everything. Using it like there is no tomorrow is what is happening still while voices of the concerned are yet disregarded. Resources dwindle and environments are being diminished, and there is a great rate of extinction of species, going on right now. Oceans are being depleted of fish and other creatures there.
