I'm new here, so it's time for a little #introduction, right?

My name is Arno, I'm from #Bruges (Belgium) and trying to learn as much as I can about the Fediverse. I have a job in social media and online communications - as that's a huge interest of mine - but I want to get rid of as much big tech as possible. Currently, I'm not able to leave everything behind. The Meta platforms and TikTok are - sadly - still way too important for my job. I'm sort of waiting for their collapse. In the meantime I'm doing as much research as I can, which I can do during working hours (win), and move my personal life to the Fediverse. You can also find me on Mastodon, Pixelfed, Lemmy & Loops (I have a slight addiction to social media, it seems).

I absolutely love #cycling, enjoy #music (listening and playing) and am interested in #tech. I also love being #creative! I'm a #drummer and like to experiment with #photography, mainly #analog.
