Good morning fellow Mastos and hello Friday. Our week in Fife is coming to an end and we head home today, back to Buckie. And just as we do, the weather turns cold and icy. Oh hum. MrsD's foot is still a problem, so I'll be doing the driving, which is fine, I'm the worst passenger in the world on any form of transport!

Good morning Fellow Travellers on the Galactic Spiral Arm ๐ I'm up late today as Grant is going out on an RSBP work party and got up for the parrots, and a lovely day he has for it too. Coffee has been poured so now I'm settling in with the Crew to wake myself up and listen to some Classic FM Calm. After the initial excitement of morning greetings, Ziggy is back under her preening arch grumbling away and Jadie is playing with her toys, but Toby has started randomly screeching again so my visit may be cut short. Eclectus screaming before one is even awake is no fun! ๐ซฃ
Remember I had that dream about my toilet being broken? Well yesterday it did actually break. So now I do need to get a plumber out. Maybe I should also set up Madame Caz's tent with a crystal ball while I'm at it ๐
More crochet today. Hoping to finish the Kids' Drawing Toy order.

Current step goal is at 89%.
I'll walk to the supermarket in about 25 minutes (and then back), this is about 2k in total. So that should push me towards the 100% for sure. ๐
I have another walk with Arwen, before I'll settle on the couch for gaming with a sweet friend! 
yay!
And then another walk before bed time, so I should be good for the steps and all that.
I really hope that tonight, I can push myself back to the strength section of the fitness, and at least do a few exercises there. I *need* to get back at that... If anyone could kick my big behind when I'm at the gym tonight? That would be really appreciated ๐ (of you could join me, that would even be more awesome 
hihi).
Well, some relaxing now and then I'll get my bag for the walk... The sun is shining, but it's still a tad cold with -2ยฐC.

I took my iced coffee to the park yesterday, and this fellow came over from the pond to see if I had any treats. I donโt feed the birds (local authorities discourage it because bread etc isnโt good for them) but we had a nice little chat.

The pond at our local park used to be dominated by geese & white ducks. We had some native birds too, but not these little fellows. They removed the non-native birds a while back and are regenerating native water weeds & vegetation on the island in the middle, which I think has attracted more native birds. I was a little sad to see the geese go; they were a bit of a feature, even if they were aggressive when they had goslings. But the overall effect has been very positive. Lots of tadpoles last spring, but I canโt say Iโve heard any frogs.
Apparently it was a natural water hole many years ago. At least it was retained as a โlakeโ when the park was landscaped, but returning it to a more natural state is certain only a good thing. The native birds clearly agree.

I am in denial and do believe that there will be another election.
It will be a landslide against the Republicans and they will become a footnote on history.

When taking pictures of the moon, I sometimes wish that I had a good dslr camera, with nice lenses, and that if know how to properly use it... I'm just fascinated by the moon....
But I know I could never afford the gear... Nor that I'd be good enough to learn to take awesome snaps with it...
So then I just hope that, in a few months time, I may be able to get a new phone when I change my mobile subscription... Ever since I had mobile phones, I usually got a new one every two years. This one is over three years old now. And while it's not bad, it's battery is getting a bit weaker, and the newer apps that I use want some more "inside power" at times...
So really hoping that, halfway July, when I need to change the subscription for my mobile provider, they'll have a good deal so I can upgrade my phone... And maybe get even better moon snaps... ๐
