Morning folks, I am trying to do the "awake and raring to go" thing, but well, another horrendous sleep. Cat woke me at one point and I physically couldn't move, almost went into a panic, some serious deep breathing to calm myself and I dozed off again, into dreams of being trapped in a small dark space that I couldn't escape from. Not a fun night. But hey, at least I am awake to face another day.

Todays plans - fuck knows, one small chore (seems to be my limit) and some fresh air, that would be enough for today.

It wasnโ€™t bad, we ended up on a bit of an unplanned detour, but it was through some truly beautiful countryside so it worked out ok in the end!

Lovely food at the Farm shop cafe & then goodies acquired at the farm shop itself.

We were lucky with the weather until we were on the way back home, so that was perfect!

I'm debating myself.
I wanna walk the treadmill.
I know I could do a short walk.
I think it would help me feel better.
But...
It means changing some clothes and leaving the couch.
And my dark monster is making me lazy.
But...
If I'd walk a bit, I could hoover after that. And... I could mop the floors after that.
And then my chores would be done.
I'd be able to feel better due to the exercises and due to finishing the chores.
You see, there's so many positives!
And still...
I struggle to "just" do it...

Trying to get some exercises in. It feels too hard these days. Where I used go be almost unstoppable, I now can hardly find any motivation.

My leg is annoying.
My hands have been had the last few days.
My brain feels like giving up.
The struggle is too hard, and I don't get any "quick" results, so it's just so hard to keep motivated.

I want my energy back. The motivation to really make a difference again. Not the bad hip with all it's restrictions. Not the bad thumb that keeps dislocating...

I know I never get better. This is my life. But some moments, I just don't feel like trying anymore... And that sucks...

I woke up earlier last night and I was wide awake...
My neck was bothering me, as was my right thumb, as it felt like it kept coming from the socket. Even with the brace, it just was ouchy... :parrot_sad:
So after the ๐Ÿ•š eleven walkies, I was relaxing on the couch and then... I woke up a little past half two, with a message that B was ready for walkies! I quickly rushed to the loo and got Arwen ready...
I felt so woozy... I think I slept about 45 minutes, so I guess I needed it. Just hope that in about 50 minutes, I can get some more sleep. As I still feel rather tired. :kirby_tired:
Hope that you're all having a lovely Sunday! :blobCat_sunglasses: and I hope that the noise I hear now will sod off soon, as it's making my headache worse...

Sorry, I hate moaning about it! But it just gets harder every day to deal with it...

Tuesday around 15 I should get the call. Fingers crossed ๐Ÿคž๐Ÿป there won't be any infection and they can soon schedule the surgery. So I can make arrangements and be done with it ASAP...

But yeah, knowing my luck ๐Ÿ€, I'll probably have to start on antibiotics first... ๐Ÿ˜”

I try to keep going, but part of me just wants to give up. Throw in the towel and all that... But I know it will only worsen my situation, so I need to keep doing whatever I can...

I was wondering... I know there is an account that follows instances to check for Alt texts in the user's toots on them.

These days, I use altbot a lot, as my hands are sore, and my brain a bit fuzzy at times, so the bot helps me to add a good text.

But, I first share my Toot without Alt text, and then I edit the Toot to add alt texts.

Does that site that checks for Alt texts takes these edits in account? As the Toot eventually has the Alt texts, just not when whey are shared the first time... ๐Ÿค”

I don't know how that account works, so I was just wondering if it scans all the toots at a certain moment in time to see if they have Alt texts... Or of it checks the toots when they are shared, so when they don't have the text yet?

Thanks to a very lovely sweet friend, who jokingly said "Good news, my Nan died" (this was based on a conversation that we had about an episode of Downton Abbey, just FYI ๐Ÿ˜‰), I was able to get the new Suzanne Collins book on my eReader!

Unfortunately, the account that I used when I set up the reader, was not the email that I use for the Bol Kobo store... So I had to logout and log in with the proper account.

It lost all my progress........ ๐Ÿ˜” Which is a bummer........

But...

It did add the book to the reader. ๐Ÿ˜Š It's charging now, and then, I can start it soon!
