Saturday has dawned sunny but quite cold - just under 6ºC outside currently but with a high of 14º promised later.
Just finishing my coffee & then I shall gird my loins with a pair of work pants & get cracking on the reed bed filter …. Ugggghhh!
Hopefully today I can finish emptying it, clear all the gunk out of the feed pipe & start cleaning & replacing the gravel.

I think Ziggy likes violin music. Whenever a piece comes on Classic FM Calm with a lot of violin in it she gives this little grunt, as though to say "Ah this is nice", then cuddles deeper into her preening arch and proceeds to grumble with sleepy contentment 😊

Now the extermination goes and comes in cycles. Croatians, people in Rwanda and now Ukraine. A relative told me that some individuals that left Ukraine had whole walls have covered with photos of acquaintances and relatives that had disappeared (demised).

Good morning Fellow Travellers on the Galactic Spiral Arm 🌌 Here at Parrot Central we have all just settled in for the morning, me with my coffee and the parrots their breakfast. Ziggy was not for taking her medication this morning again, despite it being mixed with the baby food she has happily scoffed every other morning. I had to eventually smear it over her food in the hopes she might get some of it - other than that which she head flicked all over me and the couch - in. Looks like I may have to change it again to mash for a while. The strange thing is, in the evening when you would think she is a lot less hungry, there's never an issue. Contrarian wee bird! 😊
Going to the post office to hopefully pick up a parcel of yarn I ordered and then I am having a gaming day. BG3 on the cards with Aunty Ethel to go and sort out. *Gulp* 🫣

Well... Against my expectations, I managed an hour on the hometrainer. Half of it on low settings though, but still...
And now...
I'm slowly walking the mill, speed at 4,4kmh and a 4% incline...
I hope I can make it to half an hour, and then I definitely need some rest...
Started the hometrainer right after the SniffiVerse™ walkies, started the treadmill right after the hometrainer...
I wanted to keep the momentum, as I was in it now... But I will probably crash a bit later though...

When you transfer to another Mastodon instance, you lose all the toots.
When it's time to find a new instance for Pixelfed, will there be a way to take l the snaps with me to the new account??
I have several collections. I have over 1.6k snaps online at the moment. I understand that it's a lot. Also to take on for a new instance, as I'll probably not be the only one to want to transfer all my snaps with me (if that's possible).
So.... Will it be possible? And is there any time frame known as to when this big migration will be expected to have to happen?
Sorry for all the questions. But I've spend a lot of time and effort on building my Pixelfed presence and I would hate to lose it all someday....

Ugh... Of course... It's my fault... I felt like crap, so I ate like it too...
My weight went up again... Even though my health score also went up (just one point... But still, I gained weight and the health score didn't drop).
I need to get a grip again, but yesterday was just a hard day. It's not a good reason. But it's how it affects my eating disorder. I eat when I feel bad, and I eat way too much then, as I don't have the energy to fight back the urges... 😔

Friday is grey & grisly with the temperature lurking around 9ºC. A bit cooler than yesterday’s 15º!
I worked my nuts off yesterday so, given that I’m not a big fan of being out in the rain, I’m having today off.
I will have to crack on with the filter bed tomorrow though!
But today there will be much reading of my book & maybe a movie & perhaps a little time gaming.

I have marked March 12 th as last huge Blizzard now for years but never know when the fight between Mother Nature and Old man Winter ends for spring to really take hold...especially since the Devil has reared his ugly head as well ...
