Hello. Is there anyone out there?

I'm struggling with the recent changes at Facebook. But I'm not a twitter type guy. I like the way Facebook allows us to share what we are doing and how I can keep in touch with friends. And how I can post to only friends.

So here I am, looking to see if Friendica is a platform for me.
