Dinner from a couple of weeks ago with a family friend 🙂
Classic Chicken New Yorker - Roast chicken breast with bacon, melted cheese and Texan BBQ sauce with chips, onion rings and peas. Southern Fried and Grilled Chicken Skewers with a jacket potato, coleslaw and sweet chilli dip. Katsu Curry Feast with basmati rice, salt & pepper chips and extra sauce for dipping. Rump Steak Served with chips, onion rings, and peas.
Vanilla cheesecake with chunks of chocolate cookie dough, topped with caramel and chocolate fudge sauce and vanilla ice cream. Trifle Baked Alaska with fresh berries. Lemon Meringue Pie with vanilla ice cream and raspberry coulis.
I've not long finished Neighbours, and yes, I cried. I can't believe it's all over again. They definitely left it open, so part of me hopes one day it'll be back in some sort of form...😭 #Neighbours #SaveNeighbours #SaveNeighboursAgain #BringBackNeighbours
This year has been extremely tough for me health-wise, and one thing that has got me through it is Neighbours. Since becoming more active on Mastodon months ago, I've become more aware of privacy, tried lots of great apps, I have my own instances, and I've learnt enough to be able to make changes to them via Terminal. I feel very proud. 🙂
thanks, Ikkle. We got a light new layer of fluffy snow out there this morning. As a kid, I didn't recognize all the different textures and sizes and weight of snow before, but now I am constantly fascinated by the differences. Today, the snow is composed of those stereotypical big flakes, making it loosely connected and fluffy.
