@uichelorraine @yapluca Pour le sang, ça va, on n'a eu "que" deux morts sur les 7 années que j'ai pu observer de l'intérieur : une ado qui s'est défenestrée d'un internat au deuxième étage et un autre qui s'est noyé pour cause de non-respect par les éducs des consignes d'encadrement de sortie.

Par contre, comme on peine à recruter (tout le secteur médico-social, pas que nous), y'a un gros recours à l'intérim, donc pas vraiment de constance sur les personnes entourant les gamins, notamment dans les MECS.

On a depuis peu une DG de transition qui va redresser la barre mais on a vraiment besoin de recruter des directeur•ice•s engagés.

Les rares personnes qu'on arrive à recruter sur des postes d'éducs sont généralement en reconversion pro, n'ont ni la culture ni les pratiques.

Ça a pu donner lieu à une situation ubuesque où un service d'hébergement (chef de service, éducs et veilleurs) se ligue pour dire à la directrice de tutelle qu'il faut mettre un gamin dehors pcq il est trop compliqué à gérer...

réponse ce midi à cette question de Mme #LePen (de 2013) « quand allons nous condamner à l'inéligibilité à vie » : toujours pas en 2025 (pour l'inéligibilité _à vie_) mais on y travaille. Voilà déjà un bon début 😁 avec cette inéligibilité pour 5 ans, exécutoire, assortie de 4 ans de prison dont 2 fermes aménagés (et pourquoi ?) sous bracelet. lol apparently the reason JD Vance's trip to #Nuuk was canceled was that they could not find a single person in #Nuuk who wanted to receive an in home visit from the vice president's family.

According to Danish TV they literally knocked on every door in the entire city (not that hard, there's only ~5,000 houses) trying to find someone who wanted an in home visit from Usha Vance... and 100% of the Greenlanders said no.

Yesterday NZ police "accidentally" handcuffed, sedated, and kidnapped an 11 year old girl when they were supposed to be locating a missing 20 year old ill woman.
Today the NZ Prime Minister called a Green MP "insane" for suggesting that the police needed better oversight.
If you don't like the direction America has been following lately, the first signs of it are appearing here too.

The best rule changes would be ones to introduce a finely gradated set of sanctions that can be gradually escalated for flouting the rules. afaict this is mostly missing due to the focus on building trust among the small number of ECSC, EEC members early in the group's history. I remember the idealism growing up there in those days and it's a different world now.
