As I start this post, itโs early March. When this post will be done and ready for sharing, weโll be very close to the start of spring, which is on March 20th, according to the calendar. Of course this doesnโt mean that the weather will flip a switch and thereโs no more cold days/nights. As there is a chance of frost till weโve passed the โIce Saintsโ days in May, usually around 11-15th of that month.
But usually it does mean that weโre slowly heading for some warmer weather. Itโs not guaranteed either that it will be beautiful, sunny, days. Weโre in the Netherlands after all, which means there will be rain as well. Lenteweer 2025 (sorry, Dutch link, dunno if there is a translation option). But, whatever happens, whatever weather weโre getting, it will be springโฆ ๐ผ
It will most likely mean that Iโll need to work on the gardens again, and this time make sure that I can cover the โcleanedโ ground with some proper root cloth, so that it wonโt come back so easily. It means that I may be able to get some other cloth to โsealโ the back garden a bit, as itโs open now, and everyone can just look in. Now that there are more people living behind me, I would like some more privacy. It also means that I may be able to get some chores done inside the house as well.
Butโฆ I will also learn more about my upcoming surgery. Iโll know if I have an infection, and if I need antibiotics, or if they can simply schedule the surgery. When I know more about that, I need to make arrangements for the recovery after the surgery. So, some of my plans for the house and gardens, they may not be able to happen just yetโฆ ๐ But, once Iโm recovered from the surgery, things should be going better again.
As the weather (hopefully) improves, as it will be getting light earlier, I may hopefully be able to take Arwen to the Herperduin again. ๐ I donโt know how long weโll still have each other, so as soon as weather and health allow, I would want to take Arwen to the happy place again. ๐ฆ ๐พ
Spring, longer days, warmer weather, lighter clothesโฆ Hopefully less stress, as some things will become known, and some may be handled (finally). Slowly making progress in and around the house. There is still so much to do, but hey, there is no time limit on it! The only thing I do hope to fix is the (back) garden, so that Arwen will have a nice place to relax outside when the weather is better.

Spring is coming nearโฆ As I look at the current forecast (as I write this) for the next two weeks, it looks very promising alreadyโฆ But of course, every lovely day will be repaid with two days of rain here ๐. Still, itโs looking good for nowโฆ Just have to wait and see what it will be like when weโre at Thursday, March 20thโฆ
Plansโฆ Things that I wanna do. Things that will need to be done. And my brain and body that wonโt make both things too easy for meโฆ But hey, hopefully the weather will help and I will get things done before the surgery and all thatโฆ
