On Sunday, my birthday, my parents were on their way home from visiting me. And they got into a terrible accident with a biker.

Well, I did manage to "write" some blog posts for my site...
Yesterday, I took many snaps, so I've been using a few of them for my Silent Sunday posts... Added some AI alt texts and all that... ๐

TL;DR: OP had a decent day, got their new PC working, but needs money for new video software, a PC chair (after a fall!), and Arwen's medication (โฌ112 needed, โฌ75 raised). Surgery is in 5 weeks, needs to arrange couch moving and bed delivery. Also planning a birthday trip and needs new shoes for their dog. Weight is slowly decreasing.

I couldn't get Pinnacle 16 to work on the new PC. There were compability issues that made it impossible to boot...
I saw I am eligible for a discount for an upgrade. But that means newer software that I'll have to learn (OK could be either fun or frustrating). And that means spending money that I don't have.
I need Arwen's meds first.
Probably a new PC chair, as falling down from it due to it being broken... Ouch! And yeah... I do wanna edit my stuff with something that I kinda know...
Ah well... The life of being in disability income with an older dog that needs more support....

Good morning Fellow Travellers on the Galactic Spiral Arm ๐ This morning started with a bang - literally - as I knocked down a photo of my grandsons from the wall when trying to take off Jadie's cover ๐ฑ This caused huge upset to the Crew, who have finally settled down to breakfast, but not without a lot of coaxing and much grumbling. Jadie still keeps going up to her high perch to eye the offending photo out and growl at it ๐
Today will be mostly prepping parrot stuff for Grant so he can take care of the parrots when I am away. I'll need to make fresh chop and make sure there is enough quinoa and broth mix in the freezer for Toby, and baby food cubes for Ziggy. And write instructions - last time they came to 8 notepad pages worth ๐ I will also try to fit in some crochet if there's time as I now have customers waiting in the queue to order again.

I've taken out the SSD, the HD, and the firewire card from my old PC. Ready to be taken to the new PC when it's all set up. It should arrive between 11-13:30... Fingers crossed ๐ค๐ป they'll be early...

I'll probably take Arwen to the Herperduin in less than an hour, so hopefully I can make a wee bit of progress with the game.

๐งถ๐งถ๐งถ Working on an Emotional Support Chicken using little balls of fingering weight scrap yarn held together. This time I finally got the eyes on equal, the trick is to affix them prior to sewing up the beak or head. Now for the diamond shaped chest piece, then sew the rest up and stuff!
