L'UE taxe les voitures électriques chinoises à hauteur de 35%

En supplément d'une taxe déjà existante de 10%.😀

Enfin une bonne nouvelle, mais pourquoi si peu. Les US les taxent à 100%

Hola other people that use both #Friendica and #Lemmy. Is it not possible to search for a Lemmy post from Friendica? Am I perhaps trying in the incorrect place?

I found some older issues in github that seemed to have been resolved, but I haven't been able to find any Lemmy posts from Friendica yet.

If you're coming to my account to see why I am adding you again, I moved to a more performant Friendica server. It is my last move, I promise!

Bravo le cerf !

Un cerf traqué par des barbares a ete se réfugier à la gendarmerie. Il a été gracié. En effet, ca l'aurait foutu mal que les barbares se mettent à tirer à balles de gros calibre sur la gendarmerie...

In Springfield, they are eating the cats and the dogs of the ones that live there:

An excellent analysis in french of the Orange guy's meme that went out during his Debate with the actual vice president. A step back in history of dog eating, which, apparently is not so old and not always from the places that were mentionned during this so called "debate".

I saw that the Friendica instance was getting a backlog of worker jobs. So I have tuned the worker settings, now it seems to be catching up. It's at job 8730 of 23500.

I might tune it some more later, and scale up the server if needed.

Increase the critical mass

Is there a way, or a plan we can we refer to friendica.world in order to increase its critical mass of users???

I know friendica.world is only a couple of days old,
I know every fediverse instance is connected, but I only found 7 members here.

If I can do something you think can improve this situation, please PM me.

P.S. for example, I have tried to register friendica.world in Fedidb. Did not seem to have any effect.

Settings > account > security and privacy
It's the first setting there

Ah we now are in FediDB. I needed to check a setting somewhere apparently, by default we're not publishing statistics about the instance...

This is a test post with a picture of our puppy. I don't see an option to provide alt-text for the image though?

but the editor does have markdown!

E-mail and backups

I hope I'll have some time today to do some configuration on friendica.world.
Important things that need to be configured are e-mail and backups.

E-mail configured

E-mail is configured. (Hmm, can I require e-mail validations upon signup??)

Does this federate?

Doesn't seem to work yet? Or does it?

Thank you! I ran a Friendica instance for myself a while back (at h-y-p-e-r.space) but didn't really use that.
This one will stay.

OK, so I installed Friendica

It took some troubleshooting but now it seems to (sort of) work. Now, to figure out why it won't allow me to open registrations...
